Flow, is a psychological concept recognized and named by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. It is a highly focused mental state in which outside stimuli seem to fall away. While working on ceramics, I found clay has the malleability to record the tension between human body and itself. Once it’s fired, clay becomes the documentation of intangible emotion. It is straightforward, and I like it.

My work “Flow” is led by intuition. I stack different colors of clay, then push, slap and twist the clay to build an abstract form to express my sensation.

心流，是心理學家米哈里提出的理論，指專心致志而達致忘我的內在體驗。習陶的過程中，我喜歡陶瓷直率的特性。陶泥具可塑性，會如實反映身體與泥的張力；陶泥亦有紀錄功能，一經燒製，當刻的情緒就被記錄下來。

作品《心流》便是以藝術家的直覺為主導，堆疊不同顏色的陶泥，通過推擠、摔打、捲曲等方法來創作抽象作品，形態隨思緒律動，以展現情緒和感受。
